We are a state-funded school and there are no selection criteria for entry into the WMG Academy on the basis of ability. We must emphasise that this school is for students with an interest in creating, doing and designing things. There will be an obvious focus on engineering-based skills with specialist attention being given to the areas which are applicable to local employers in the automotive, aerospace and high-value manufacturing sectors.
