Back to School – September 2026
The new academic year is almost here, and we are looking forward to welcoming our students back to WMG Academy Solihull.
Please see the arrangements for the first week of term below.
Monday 31 August
Bank Holiday – the Academy is closed.
Tuesday 1 September
INSET Day – staff only. Students do not attend.
Wednesday 2 September
INSET Day – staff only. Students do not attend.
Thursday 3 September
Years 9, 10 and 12 only
- Years 9 & 10: 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Year 12: 8:30am – 3:00pm
- Years 11 and 13: Students do not attend.
Friday 4 September
Years 9, 10 and 12 only
- Years 9 & 10: 8:30am – 3:20pm
- Year 12: 8:30am – 3:00pm
- Years 11 and 13: Students do not attend.
Monday 7 September
All year groups return
- Years 9, 10 & 11: 8:30am – 3:20pm
- Year 12: 8:30am tutor time, followed by timetabled lessons.
- Year 13: Students should attend lessons as shown on their timetable in the Bromcom (MCAS) app.
Year 13 students who have any issues with their timetable should contact the Academy before Monday 7 September. A paper timetable will also be provided during their first tutor session.
