Christopher Gaisor – Former WMG Academy Student And Currently Training To Become An EMT Electro-Mechanical Marine Engineer
Christopher’s journey started in 2019, he came home from school and expressed his frustration with his current school, he was not happy, didn’t feel supported, and felt he wouldn’t be able to achieve any qualifications. Christopher had heard and read about WMG and asked us if he could apply to move there. At first we were not sure about moving and changing schools, but after meeting Mr Bain we knew it was right for Christopher and fully supported his decision to move. From the very first day we could see the difference in Christopher his confidence grew day by day, coming home confident he would pass exams telling us how passionate the teachers were they wanted the results as much as the pupils. – Mrs Gaisor
I was a student at WMG from 2019-2023 and honestly it was the best decision I made to move school, this is because all the staff can’t do enough to make sure that you understand the context required to pass your exams and you can achieve your full potential , all the teachers majorly believe that all students can and will achieve great results and do great things, when I explained that I wanted pursue a career in the Royal Navy the whole school fully supported me in my decision and helped me to get to where I am now especially with the application process , I can’t express how much I’m grateful for the support of such a school, not only did I pass all my exams but I now have key knowledge in engineering which is aiding me in my courses here. – Christopher Gaisor
