Safeguarding and Well-being October 2020:
Although the academies will be closed over the half term, the safeguarding and well-being of students will continue to be monitored during this period.
If you have any concerns, please contact the academy at firstname.lastname@example.org and mark the email ‘Safeguarding Confidential’. If you have concerns that a child is at risk of harm or is been harmed, please contact you local Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
Children’s Advice & Support Service
The Children’s Advice and Support Service(CASS) provides a single point of contact for professionals and members of the public who want to access support or raise concerns about a child.
We want to keep all children and young people in Birmingham safe from harm. If you are concerned about a child please contact CASS who will listen, assess your concerns and can take action if a child is at risk.

Out of hours: If you have an emergency outside of usual office hours, please contact the emergency duty team immediately on: 01926 886922
If you think that a child is at immediate risk, contact the police immediately on 999
During half term, WMG Academy will continue to monitor students with symptoms and those who have been tested.
If you have symptoms, please isolate and arrange a test. Please keep the academy informed of tests and results by emailing email@example.com. and typing ‘COVID-19 TEST RESULT’ as the subject. This email address will be monitored daily during half term and can also be used if you have any questions regarding Covid-19.
