In particular, well done to the female students mentioned above; it is fantastic to see their successes following the hard work they have put into their studies, fully supporting the national drive to encourage a greater number of females into STEM subjects.
Associate Principal, Claire Morris said, ‘We are extremely proud of all our students and the progress they have made. GCSE (and equivalent) results are achieved with a great amount of hard work, our Year 11’s have shown a great level of determination and drive and as a result, have achieved some fantastic results and destinations for next academic year. Each student’s achievements are valued enormously and are achieved within their own personal contexts; we want you all to know how proud of you we are ! I would also like to recognise the hard work of our staff who have equally worked tirelessly to support, guide and inspire our students to achieve their very best.
We are delighted to have enrolled so many of our Year 11 cohort into our Sixth Form, where we know they will go on and excel further in their learning utilising our large number of national and international employer partners to continue to develop their employability skills. We are also very excited to have enrolled new students from a range of schools across Solihull and Birmingham.
For our students who are moving on from WMG to apprenticeships and other destinations, we send you all our very best wishes for your future in your chosen pathways. We have complete confidence that each and every one of you will go on to achieve the goals that you set yourselves.’
