The Academy’s latest open day proved to be our largest and most popular open day event yet.
Almost 400 people toured the Academy on October 7th and visited interactive displays in subject areas as well as seeing the Engineering Hall in use.
Mr Tait said: “Thanks go to our 25 fabulous student Ambassadors who gave up their Saturday to share their experiences first hand of joining a University Technical College specialising in Engineering. It was a great day that allowed the academy to showcase resources and courses on offer to young people for September 2018.”
Staff and students were joined by employee teams from Rolls Royce, JLR, Balfour Beatty, WMG, ECITB and WUSAT.
