WMG Academy Trust welcomed Andy Holding from Birmingham Airport for the launch of the Air Rail Link project for our Year 12 students. This is a phenomenal opportunity for our students to not only apply their STEM skills into an industry challenge, but to refine their team work, project management skills, research, creativity and communication.
To undertake a design challenge facing real-world engineers means that our Solihull students have the chance to propose their solutions that supports sustainability. Our students are now in their teams, already planning their research in readiness for their on-site visit! We are proud to be part of this experience with Birmingham Airport and have our future engineers competing for the winning pitch in June.
