Associate Principal, Claire Morris said, ‘We are extremely proud of all our students, who have once again shown exceptional resilience, maturity, and determination throughout their courses over the last two years. In 2025, we have seen even more students securing places at prestigious universities to study their chosen STEM subjects, alongside an increasing number achieving competitive Engineering Apprenticeships at both Level 3 and Degree level with large and medium-sized companies. This continues to demonstrate how WMG Academy prepares students for both higher education and the world of work.
WMG Academy for Young Engineers is proud to work with a wide range of national and international employer partners who support our students in developing their employability skills. These partnerships are reflected in the excellent destinations our students have secured this year.
This year’s results have been particularly impressive. The average grade in the Level 3 BTEC’s has risen from a Merit to a Distinction. In the Level 3 BTEC Engineering Diploma (equivalent to 2 A levels), we are thrilled to share a 22% increase in students achieving DD*–DD and DD*–MM grades. In A level English we achieved 100% A*-C.
These achievements are a testament to our students’ dedication, the support of our exceptional teaching team, and the strong partnerships that underpin our academy’s unique approach to education.’
