Meet the Associate Principal – Mrs Claire Morris

Claire Morris oversees the day-to-day running of WMG Academy Solihull.
She says, “I feel immensely proud to be Associate Principal of WMG Academy Solihull. My career to date has been focused around design technology, CAD, electronics and 3D design. I therefore truly appreciate and fully support the need for a skills-based curriculum.
“At WMG Academy Solihull, our aim is to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people through a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning, delivered by expert practitioners, as well as providing a broad and balanced curriculum for all.
“I aim – with the support of my dedicated team – to bring out the best in young people and give them the leadership opportunities to develop themselves and others whilst securing the knowledge, technical skills and business behaviour we know employers value.”

Meet the Chief Executive Officer – Mr Stewart Tait
Mr Tait says: “I feel incredibly privileged to be the Chief Executive of the WMG Academy Trust. Our aim is to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people through a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning, delivered by expert practitioners, as well as providing a broad and balanced curriculum for all.
“Both the WMG Academy Coventry and WMG Academy Solihull aim to bring out the best in young people and give them the leadership opportunities to develop themselves and others, whilst securing the knowledge, technical skills and business behaviour we know employers value.”
Prior to taking up the role of CEO, Mr Tait was the Founding Principal of the WMG Academy Solihull.
