Just like a working day

The academy day mimics a business day, starting at 8:30 and finishing at 16:30, to prepare students for live in the real world of work. Days follow the structure below:

08:30 – 08:55 – Pastoral Tutor Time
08:55 – 09:50 – Period 1
09:50 – 10:45 – Period 2
10:45 – 11:05 – Morning Break
11:05 – 12:00 – Period 3
12:00 – 12:55 – Period 4
12:55 – 13:30 – Lunch
13:30 – 14:25 – Period 5
14:25 – 15:20 – Period 6**
15:20 – 16:15 – Period 7

**Please note: On Monday, Thursday and Fridays, students leave the academy at the end of Period 6.

The Academy Day

• Official Start Time: 8:30 am (Every day)

• Monday, Thursday & Friday: Finish at 3:20 pm

• Tuesday & Wednesday: Finish at 4:15 pm

Weekly Total: This schedule provides a total of 36 hours per typical week, including break and lunch periods.
